*WBFH students won High School Radio Station of the Year 10 times by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation: 2003, 2004*, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011*, 2013, 2015 and 2016.
*WBFH students won 1st Place, Best High School Radio Station in the Nation six times…a national competition (John Drury High School Radio Awards) sponsored by North Central College in Naperville, Illinois: 2006. 2007, 2008 (tie), 2010, 2014, 2015.
3rd Place, Best High School Radio Station, 2005, John Drury High School Radio Awards. 2nd Place, Best High School Radio Station, 2009 and 2012.
*Best High School Radio Station Finalist in national competition sponsored by Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, New York City, 2016.
*Michigan Association of Educational Broadcasters (MAEB) High School Station of the Year: 1990, 1995, 2003.
*MAEB Carl V. Jacobson Educational Broadcasting Achievement Award: 2006
PB: 1st Place, Best High School Radio Station Advisor, 2005 and 2011, John Drury High School Radio Awards (national competition), North Central College, Naperville, Illinois. Only advisor in U.S. to win this award two times. Second Place, 2004.
National Finalist Outstanding Faculty Adviser by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System at their awards ceremony in New York City 2016.
